Frequently Asked Questions
Our Preschool and Pre-K programs use a structured, hands-on curriculum designed to prepare children for kindergarten while making learning engaging and fun. Children develop early literacy, phonics, math, science, and social-emotional skills through age-appropriate activities, guided instruction, and purposeful play. Our curriculum incorporates Fundations®-aligned literacy concepts and is designed to support the kindergarten readiness expectations of the Chandler Unified School District (CUSD) and Queen Creek Unified School District (QCUSD), helping children build the confidence and skills they need for a successful transition to elementary school.
Our Twos classroom has a ratio of 8 children per teacher. Our Preschool classroom is licensed for up to 13 children, and our Pre-K classroom is licensed for up to 15 children.
We believe children learn best in a nurturing environment where teachers can provide individual attention. Our classrooms are intentionally kept smaller than many larger childcare centers, allowing our experienced teachers to build meaningful relationships with every child while supporting their academic, social, and emotional growth
Children do not need to know how to read or write before starting Pre-K. Our program is designed to help children build those skills at their own pace. We encourage children to be curious, follow simple directions, participate in group activities, and continue developing independence in daily routines. Our teachers meet each child where they are and help them gain the confidence and skills needed for kindergarten.
Grow & Learn Preschool is open Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM, providing convenient hours for working families in Queen Creek and San Tan Valley. Our consistent daily schedule offers children a predictable routine that supports learning, play, and healthy development.
Our Pre-K program focuses on building the academic, social, and emotional skills children need to succeed in kindergarten. Through engaging lessons, hands-on activities, and guided learning, children develop early reading and writing skills, number sense, problem-solving abilities, independence, confidence, and positive classroom habits that help make the transition to elementary school a successful one.
