Mission
At Grow and Learn Preschool our Mission is to care about each individual child.
We are committed to helping children learn the basic skills required for Kindergarten and beyond. Grow and Learn Preschool prides itself on “School and Fun Rolled into One”.
While activities vary each day based on the curriculum and follow different themes, a typical day in our Preschool and Daycare includes:
Language Arts
ABC’s hands on learning, letter of the day, alphabet song, putting sounds together to form words, writing their first and last names, identifying capital and lower case letters.
Math
123’s: identifying numbers, writing numbers, adding and subtracting, graphing, telling time, sorting, counting money, and measurements.
Science
Learning how and why things grow, seasons, weather, weekly science experiments, and a field trip to a dairy farm.
Arts and Crafts
Coloring, painting, working with scissors, creative art, gluing, and collage. Weekly letter related and holiday art projects.
Free time
Reading, puzzles, trains, legos, blocks, doll house, cars, Little People centers, and much more.
Circle time
Welcome song, Pledge of Allegiance, attendance, counting days of school and calendar forwards and backwards, graph question, letter and number of the week song and chant, story time, songs, calendar time, talk about V.I.P., Holidays or upcoming events.
