Ms Shawntal
My name is Ms Shawntal and I have the privilege to serve as Facility Director at Grow and Learn Preschool.
I have been working in Early Childhood Education for 25+ years, and it truly is my passion. My love for children came at an early age. I enjoy watching each child grow and blossom into great things.
I have worked with all age groups from infants through kindergarten. And I’m passionate about nurturing all children during the crucial stage of development. I believe it takes a village to raise and support young minds.
I offer knowledge in many different areas of development along with a great passion for helping children and families.
My philosophy on education is that every child learns and grows differently. I believe that working together with families and their children is what sets the building blocks for success in the future. The way children learn is by exploring things in life through curiosity and with confidence. We as educators and parents are responsible for making sure each child has that confidence.
On the personal side, I was born and raised in Colorado (Go Broncos) and have been in Arizona since 1997. I have 2 adult boys, grandpups and Lola my cat.

Our Preschool is extremely fortunate to have a team of fantastic teachers: Ms Annalyse, Ms Angie, Ms Anne, Ms Abigail, Ms Erin, Ms Claire, Ms Riley and Ms Charlotte.
They all bring a set of different skills and experience to the classroom and above all, they bring love and passion to support your kid’s development, every day.
For your Child’s Safety and the Quality of our program, all of our Teachers’ experience and credentials include:
- Extensive training in Early Childhood Education
- Full background check through the Arizona Department of Child Safety (DCS) Central Registry
- Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card from the Arizona Department of Public Safety (AZ DPS)
- CPR certification
- First Aid certification
- Experience working with children
- Love, passion and dedication to make Grow and Learn Preschool and Daycare a second home for your child
